Project Conway is a collaborative education project between Deeson Online and the University of Kent’s TinkerSoc and School of Computing.

It might have been a cold and dark December night, but that didn't dent the enthusiasm and passion of our tip top presenters and audience at Wednesday's Digibury.

Held once again at The Gulbenkian Cabaret Stage, we hunkered down to enjoy three very interesting and diverse talks, pulling in themes including ways in which social media creates poetry and how big data helps street cobblers in Pakistan.

There are some people in this world who can go by a single name: Becks. Pelé... Robbie.

And we at Deeson Online are spectacularly happy to announce the launch of Robbie's new site robbiewilliams.com supporting the release of his latest album Swings Both Ways.

Last Wednesday was a big day for Digibury. Not only did we have lots of new faces (great to see you all) we also got to try out our permanent new home: the Cabaret Stage at The Gulbenkian. In fact we were the first ever event to use the Stage. And wow. It blew us away. We got lights, full use of the PA system, and as for the projector, the presentation slides could be seen from a mile off.

A few weeks back we went to Drupal Con armed with stickers, posters... and t-shirts.

By day two we'd run out of the incredibly popular tees (hat tip to our very own Graeme Blackwood).

We're all crazy for the DrupalCon tee...

Well, good people, we are now in posession of more. And as the Vine below shows, Team Deeson are rather fond of them... so get moving before we claim them all for ourselves!

There are some things that go down in history purely for the 'I was there' experience: Woodstock. First man on the moon... Digibury at the Gulbenkian.

Moving into our new home was always going to be a test of one kind or another, but key was finding a place that would work for not only Digibury 'the event', but also Digibury 'the community'.

As an 'experience designer', Aral Balkan works to change the world through 'design‐led open source'.

Last month, he delivered a keynote speech at DrupalCon Prague. It was engrossing, through-provoking and a little bit jaw dropping.

In the talk, Aral covered the sticky issue of design, the seamless experience and ownership of data, framing it through topics including how:

We caught up with Megan Sanicki from Drupal Association to find out what she hoped to learn from DrupalCon Prague this week. Here's what she had to say...

DrupalCon Prague: Day 2

Bof 1: What is content strategy and why should I even care?

This was my first Bof (at my first DrupalCon) and to be honest, I wasn't sure how many people would come along to a session that focused on a non-Drupal centred topic, run by a DrupalCon newbie. Was I insane!?

DrupalCon Prague: Day 1

By Lizzie Hodgson | 23rd September 2013

As any one of the thousand or so attendees will tell you, it's no mean feat prepping for DrupalCon Prague. The thing is, once that’s done, the real work starts...
